Snapbar vs Simple Booth: Delivered Activation or Owned iPad Booth?
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Simple Booth cost?

Simple Booth software plans run $49 to $249 a month (Core, Plus, Pro, Select), with yearly rates and weekly plans on the two lower tiers, plus a custom Enterprise tier. HALO hardware is separate, listed from $2,090 plus an iPad, and AI effects use credits at $0.10 each. Checked September 2026.

Do you need an iPad to use Simple Booth?

For the HALO booth, yes. The HALO app is built for iPad and the kit does not include one; Simple Booth's store lists an 11-inch iPad Air at $599. Simple Booth's Virtual Booth is the exception: it runs in any modern browser on a guest's own device with no app and no HALO required.

Does Simple Booth capture leads and send them to a CRM?

Yes, on the Pro and Select plans, and it must be enabled before use. Captured data appears in the Analytics dashboard, downloads as a CSV, pushes automatically to Mailchimp, or reaches your CRM through Simple Booth's API, which requires a developer. Custom legal terms and opt-in wording are on the Select plan.

Is Snapbar a photo booth app?

No. Snapbar experiences are web-based, so there is no app to download and the same experience runs on a kiosk, an iPad, a laptop, guests' phones, or all of those at once, with no license per device. Each activation is configured with the Snapbar team and includes a live gallery, slideshow, leaderboard, data capture and branded email delivery.

Which is cheaper for a single 500-guest event, Simple Booth or Snapbar?

They land close, checked September 2026. Simple Booth with data capture is about $2,870 for the first event (HALO Kit, iPad, one month of Pro, AI credits), then $149 a month. Snapbar is $1,995 for Digital Photo Booth or approximately $3,200 for AI Photo Booth. On repeat use, Simple Booth wins.

Can Snapbar send event leads to HubSpot?

Yes. Lead data is delivered in real time into HubSpot, Slack, customer-supplied signed webhooks and Zapier, plus a partner API, and that delivery is pilot-gated per account and configured with the Snapbar team, not self-serve. Records are consent-gated by default, so a guest who declines has their details dropped before delivery.
