Humane Canada, the largest national animal welfare organization in Canada, had worked with Snapbar before and came back to utilize Snapshot to capture photos, of pets of course, to share and create awareness for their 2022 Humane Canada Summit for Animals. The hybrid nature of their event created an opportunity to not only engage people virtually, online, but also in-person utilizing signage with QR codes. And on top of that, they were able to partner with a key sponsor on the virtual photo booth to share the cost while creating greater reach for Hill’s Pet Nutrition to a coveted audience.
Snapshot can work just as well for animals as it does for humans, and who doesn’t love accessorizing pictures of their favorite furry friends? To maximize their pet-centered content and engagement, Humane Canada kept their booth live for an entire month promoting it before, during, and after the event.

For Humane Canada, the priority was finding a solution that could integrate into their existing software, was easy to use and navigate for both planner and attendee, as well as offer many different options for customization. They were able to engage in-person attendees, virtual attendees, and of course - the pets! If we’re judging on a measure of cuteness (which we are) we give this event an A+. While we’d like to see as many cute pet pictures as possible, Snapshot was a success for connecting their in-person and virtual audiences in a custom way that resonated with the organization, the topics of the summit, and the audience they were engaging.
