Merry Christmas, everyone! Christmas is right around the corner, and you know what that means -- so is the new year! With the new year come new trends and ideas. We want to give you a headstart on planning your photo booth activations for all of next year's parties, so read away. Let me tell you, 2018 is going to be AWESOME!
1. Leaf Blower Experience
Some of you may have already read our case study that we released a couple weeks ago on this amazing experience. If you haven't, check it out here. In short-- this experience is bound to be a hit in 2018. So far, we've had lines out the door with people eager to blow their hairdo into next Tuesday at events featuring this booth, and we're already getting requests for events next year that want it!
How it works: We set up a photo booth, aim a leaf blower at user's faces, and let the camera do the rest. The still images are priceless, and the GIFs are tear-worthy! It's the perfect experience for events of all kind. In fact, it's been the biggest hit at corporate conferences! Everyone wants to tussle up their hair a bit to get a shot of the hilarity!
2. Projector Booth
Instead of a cool backdrop that stays static throughout all 3 images, what if you were part of the backdrop? With a Projector Booth, we project unique images onto you and your fellow photo-takers, and end up with a memorable experience and product.
When we've gotten to do this experience before, it's been a huge hit! Guests are always excited to try the experience out. You can either send us a video you want to project beforehand or create your own artwork for us to project for that added special touch.
3. Headshot Photo Booth
Possibly the hottest up and coming photo booth experience to date, and perfect for those corporate conferences and events! A Headshot Photo Booth is the best new way to get your headshot taken. By taking away the pressure of corporate headshots, people are able to take quality headshots that are natural and express their personalities.
Like I said-- this is the perfect experience for corporate conferences. Who doesn't want a free headshot at a business conference they paid a pretty penny to get into? Even Girlboss by Sophia Amoruso is getting in on the action! Our friends at The Hustle gave us the heads up earlier this week that "Girlboss has staged 2 'rallies' so far, with tickets going for up to $700, at which companies like Bumble have spent 'six figures' on ad integrations like a headshot booth at the events."
This is also a much more affordable way for companies to offer headshots for their employees without paying $50-$200 per person! It's a win-win for everyone!
4. iPad Photo Booths
Or as we call them-- Selfie Stands. These booths aren't anything new -- we've had them around for a while. But people are just now starting to see how fun and awesome they are! You get to brand them with your own art or company branding and let them hang out at your event for a day rental at a flat rate. No need to worry about hourly rates.
The Selfie Stand is perfect for large or multiday activations. They are unmanned, so guests get to use them at their leisure, take a fun photo or GIF, and then immediately send it to themselves via e-mail or SMS after the event. They're always a hit at parties and a huge asset to digital marketing!

5. Set Design
Sometimes a backdrop and silly lip and mustache props aren't enough. Sometimes you have to spice things up a bit with a whole set! We have made this happen a few times this last year, including a holiday party most recently! This corporate bash had a 'Totally Awesome 80's' them--what a dream.
For their custom set, they had a vision to recreate a particularly hideous living room from the Molly Ringwald classic Pretty In Pink. To make it happen, we created a completely custom backdrop, and transformed the floor with a black & white checkered cling. We threw in some themed decor, including an ugly floor lamp, 80's style pillows, and a throw blanket to go on the couch. The end result was fabulous, and guests loved it! Everyone thought the idea was so cool that not only did they take photos in the booth, but also OF the booth! And our clients looked amazing because of it. 😉
