On the heels of the pandemic, a particularly innovative owner of multiple East Coast CycleBar franchises was seeking unique ways to engage new riders, to build loyalty with their members, and give their instructors more tools to promote their classes. After some research they got in touch with Snapbar and we started collaborating on ways to use a virtual photo booth to achieve their goals. They wanted a way to gamify accomplishments while creating more social media engagement with their instructors and riders, without taking up too much space in the limited footprint of their space. A virtual photo booth along with strategic signage offered the perfect solution.
Across two locations in New Jersey and North Carolina, this CycleBar franchisee, implemented a virtual photo booth experience unique to each location and utilized custom signage to draw attention and make it easy for members to engage with a simple scan of a QR code from their phone. Incorporating their own clever catch phrases of “Rock Your Ride” and “Cycle Queen” into both signage and the photo booth stickers ties the experience together, and highlights milestone achievements to encourage participation and social sharing.
The flexibility of a ‘virtual photo booth’ has also given this CycleBar franchisee the ability to keep the experience fresh, adding a holiday spin for their first-time and frequent riders alike. As far as creative implementations go, we couldn’t be happier to be working with such an innovative boutique fitness owner to create in-person engagement that benefits their business, instructors, and customers alike!
Features & Add-ons Used:
Since implementing Snapshot experiences at his NJ and NC locations, CycleBar has driven dozens of engagements with their first-time riders, and taken their milestone recognition to new levels for their members. By customizing and personalizing the experience, both the instructors and their riders have the ability to share their content to social media platforms as well, reaching thousands of potential new riders and friends that may want to join in on the action. Their unique signage has kept the physical footprint minimal and refreshing the experience seasonally continues to keep people engaged and promotes participation.
It’s a completely novel use of a virtual photo booth that we’re proud of and excited to continue as we look to other businesses that want to leverage virtual photo booths to promote community and enhance their social media presence and engagement.
