Napa and Sonoma Counties have an amazing plethora of winery venues to offer, many of whom host private events. From European charm to modern style, the list to choose from is long! Many wineries offer a choice of both indoor and outdoor spaces, with an amazing variety of food and, of course, wine, to choose from. The reason why we love Chateau St. Jean? Northern California boasts an amazing array of state parks, and many of them accommodate weddings and other events! Many state parks feature unique facilities, both indoor and out. Jack London is out of the city traffic, offering easy access and parking for guests. This made our pick due to its amazing combination of historic charm and affordability!

When planning a wedding or event, most people's default reaction isn't necessarily to think of a museum. We would be remiss to leave out this unique category of venue, however, as the Bay Area has many spectacular options to choose from! Many museums offer unique, remarkable facilities, combined with an educational aspect! For a memorable event in the middle of Golden Gate Park, look no further than the California Academy of Sciences.
