The Goal
In early 2019, we worked with Amazon to coordinate an international, multi-unit subscription activation for the entire year, with the option to extend the timeline if the activation got sufficient traction.
This activation would be executed at Amazon fulfillment centers in North America and Europe.
The Plan
Amazon wanted photo experiences based at their fulfillment centers so guests could take group selfies as soon as they finished a tour of the facilities.
The internet giant requested 46 Selfies Stands shipped to different locations across North America and Europe as a way to not only promote fulfillment center tours, but to also give guests lasting memories and photos to share on social media of their experience.
The Hurdles
The SnapBar worked with Amazon to facilitate the software customizations and user interface language translations.
We also dealt with Customs officials, ensured the data captured was GDPR compliant in the EU**, and provided all support for any fulfillment center that needed it.
The Results
During the first six months of this Amazon activation, there have been 13,796 photos taken, 25,898 photos shared and millions of impressions generated online.
This number is growing exponentially and we're excited to see what the rest of 2019 will bring for #AmazonFCtours!
