As a seed-funded tech startup disrupting their industry, Tilt was hiring and scaling quickly, and that has only accelerated since. They needed an employee headshots solution for their fully remote team to celebrate their awesome people on the website, and luckily a quick Google search introduced them to Snapbar Studio. On top of being remote-friendly with consistent quality, scalability was critical for Tilt and we were glad to offer the perfect solution.

The Solution

When you’re trying to scale a tech startup there’s a lot of moving pieces to coordinate, and headshots shouldn’t be one of the more challenging ones - but it often is. Tilt needed employee headshots for their website, social media, and email signatures that could be easily captured by their remote team, consistently edited without a massive drain on resources, and internally managed and moderated. With Snapbar’s virtual solution they were able to easily link their current (and future) employees to their custom branded Studio. From there, each team member could capture a quality headshot by following some provided tips, and choose their favorite background color from pre-set outputs. The headshots then populated their admin dashboard for moderation, coordination, downloading, and implementation.

Virtual headshots have allowed Tilt to create an awesome Team Page on their website, have consistent email signatures, and easily onboard new employees as they join.

Results

At the time of writing, Tilt has captured over 200 headshots for their remote employees, and counting. That means over 600 automatically edited outputs that a design team didn’t have to worry about. That’s a lot of hours saved - not to mention the cultural boost highlighting every one of their awesome employees across their digital presence, while creating a consistent and vibrant representation of their team for all current and potential clients.
